Bucegi 2014. Babele, Vârful Omu și Valea Cerbului

Odată cu vara am așteptat cu nerăbdare primul sfârșit de săptămână fără ploaie (după promisiunile meteorologilor. Și a venit.
Un drum rapid cu mașina până în Bușteni, pe strada Telecabinei. Am așteptat vreo două ore la rând si apoi rapid prin nori, iată-ne la Babele!

 Drumul spre cabana Omu a fost destul de simplu. Soarele ne-a însoțit tot timpul, norii erau mai jos decât noi. David s-a întâlnit pe drum cu alt David (Neacșu) care ne-a încurajat și pe care nu-l mai văzusem de câțiva ani.

Am ajuns la Omu.

Ne-am cazat, am mâncat și am băut multe ceaiuri.  Priveliști superbe în jurul nostru. Ne-am odihnit, am făcut plimbări prin împrejurimi – Bucura și puțin către Bucșoiu. Ne-am gândit la inițiatorii acestei ture – prietenii noștri Adrian și Aniela care din păcate nu au mai putut urca la Omu, unde ne stabilisem punctul de întâlnire.

A doua zi de dimineață a urmat coborârea. Am ales Valea Cerbului, pe unde nu mai fusesem de vreo 18 ani. Nu a fost cea mai bună alegere. Traseul s-a erodat puternic și din nefericire marcajele nu au mai fost refăcute, cel puțin în zona superioară, unde potecile caprelor și ceața pot ridica probleme.
Am ajuns jos cu mult după timpul estimat, suficient însă să mâncăm la Mărgăritar și apoi să ajungem pe lumină la București. Febra musculară a fost bonus pentru Mami și Tati, David s-a comportat excelent fără nicio problema fizică sau de aclimatizare.
